Jason McAteer was a guest on Soccer AM last weekend and he revealed that he's got a new book coming out. Great news.
What he also revealed is that he has allowed Robbie Fowler to pick the title, which is probably bad news for Jason, but again is great news for the rest of us.
But it gets even worse for 'Trigger', as rather than take time out to pick his own titles for suggestion, Fowler opened it up to twitter when he was painfully bored during England vs San Marino, and the results were excellent:
Name @MCATEER4 's book #thingsbetterthanthisgame?

The challenge was set, and a few viable contenders emerged:
@Robbie9Fowler it's easy ya gotta name it "The Spice Boy" ??? @MCATEER4 sorry trigger

And thankfully there were many that alluded to the legendary stories of McAteer:

— Brian Kelly (@bpkelly78) September 8, 2015
@Robbie9Fowler @MCATEER4 Wash N Go
— Keith Corcoran (@keithc15) September 8, 2015
'One Hundred And Eighty' would be referring to the time he allegedly saw Jim White in a pub and shouted those words at the top of his lungs.
'4 slices' is in reference to the time he allegedly ordered a pizza and when asked if he wanted it cut into eight slices or four, he replied "Four, I could never eat eight!"
And 'Red or Brown' was suggested because he apparently once was asked to pass the ketchup, to which he replied "Red or brown?".
Some great suggestions, have you any to add yourself?
We love you Jason, never change. By the way, because any excuse will do, here's his goal against Holland:
