Conor Hourihane's goal proved the difference tonight as Aston Villa won 1-0 against Yeovil Town in the Football League Cup while Graham Burke scored his first competitive goal for Preston North End during their 3-1 win over Morecambe.
Hourihane operated as finisher rather than creator tonight after also assisting Birkir Bjarnason for his 94th-minute winner last weekend. The Irishman stormed into the box to smash home Jonathan Kodjia's cross.
