Every once in a while a lovely little gem of a story emerges to remind us that European Super Clubs have a heart underneath the corporate steel that seems more interested in worldwide tyre partners than community ethos.
This story involves Bayern Munich who answered the call of a Macedonian school via a Bayern supporters club who in trying to improve their football facilities asked Bayern for 100 seats that were removed from the Allianz Arena South Stand this summer in a small renovation.
Bayern not only agreed to the request, they sent 255 seats in total. Here's the before and after:
