Not only has his errant digit in Edinson Cavani's anus distracted from what has been an entertaining Copa America, but things have gone quite badly for the former West Brom defender since Cavani was sent off for his understandable reaction.
First up it was confirmed that he is being investigated and will likely be banned from the rest of the tournament and quite probably longer. Now, there's even worse news for Jara.
His club, Mainz, have confirmed that the incident has cast so much shame on the German side that they're looking to chuck him out as soon as possible.
