Wow.
Italia '90 had Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma. Now, Leicester City have won the league, and it has reached an utterly beautiful crescendo, as Andrea Bocelli sang Nessun Dorma and Con Ti Partiro in the centre-circle beside a weeping Claudio Ranieri, who had declared 'I Love You' to the Leicester City support. Surreal. Drink this in, football is not going to offer anything like this for some time. Watch below:
The reaction was both overwhelming and overwhelmed:
Wow. Thank you to Andrea Bocelli for one of the most unforgettable moments we'll ever see at King Power Stadium. Incredible. #havingaparty

#soccer Andrew Bocelli singing at Leicester City to celebrate their winning the Premiership. Such class. Like I said, it's not just a game.

Watching Ranieri cry during Bocelli was like when he cried on pitch during his last Chelsea game, brought it all back #2004 #likeyesterday

When the renaissance and the English midlands collide. One of the most iconic moments in English football history.
