The traditional "Boxing Day Derby" between Belfast's big 2 was played on a carpet of snow in 1995 at Glentoran's home ground, The Oval. It didn't seem to effect Linfield as they went in at half time ahead.

Then it got interesting as they ran out of orange balls and were forced to use a standard white ball. Who doesn't like a farce of a game on St Stephen's Day?

Linfield won the game apparently.
