Oh for the days when Steve Finnan was the epitome of consistency at right back for Liverpool. It has been impossible to replace the Ireland international, even when he was there (Josemi and Kromkamp anyone?), but then they splashed out £17+ million for Glen Johnson and everything should have been fine. It wasn't.
Five years later and Johnson has been woefully inept when it comes to knowing where a defender is supposed to position himself and, at times, he has simply looked uninterested. But then he put his head where it hurts and scored the winner against Stoke and everything was forgiven. Well, not really. As is the way when something like this happens, Twitter had a field day.

A £1 treble on Joe Cole, Chris Smalling and Glen Johnson all to score first would have returned £9,724. Also would've got you sectioned. — Paddy Power (@paddypower) November 29, 2014
Glen Johnson nets his first Premier League goals since 9th December 2012 (vs. West Ham).
Good for you Glen JoJo, you go Glen JoJo.
