With the eyes of the footballing World on Berlin ahead of the Champions League final on Saturday, many of Juventus' and Barcelona's stars will be interrogated on all sorts of subjects by the media in the run-up to what promises to be an absolutely cracking match.
Barca, like Juve, managed to secure trophy number two of a potential treble by winning their domestic cup, but after the game all the talk was about one man. Lionel Messi.
The little Argentine genius scored another barely believable goal in the Copa Del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao, and everybody swooned over Messi's sublime skill... Everyone that is, except Giorgio Chiellini, who was asked what he thought about the goal by Marca.
It is certainly a great goal, but I think Messi could not have scored that in Italy, where the defending is much better than in Spain. In La Liga the football is more attractive than in Italy, but the defending is worse.
He definitely could have. Keep in mind that Chiellini's own Juve side allowed a right-back to do this to them back in November:
Is this the goal of the season? @TorinoFC_1906's Bruno Peres runs from his own box to score a stunning solo goal.

While the large Italian defender played down that brilliant Messi goal, he made sure to convey his admiration of Leo's ability as he continued:
Messi is now the God of football. Difficult to compare with Maradona, Pele and co., but he is probably the best in the last 30 years.
If you were a Juve fan, you'd have to hope that Giorgio isn't tempting fate with those Italian defending remarks, just look at what he did to poor Jerome Boateng.
