Ryan Giggs bade an emotional goodbye to Manchester United a fortnight ago, calling an end to his 29-year association with the club, confirming his exit with an era-ending, tear-jerking, Moyes-ignoring statement. As Giggs considers his options as he pursues a career in management, he has taken some time out to fly to India to partake in a star-studded futsal league in India.

Giggs is lining out for Mumbai, and will face fellow football legends Ronaldinho, Hernan Crespo, Michel Salgado and Paul Scholes. It's a short tournament, with the final fixed for this day week.

The Welshman has wasted little time in tearing it up in India, helping Mumbai to a 4-2 win against Chennai in their opening game. Giggs set up the fourth goal, and proved that traversing time zones does no harm to his ability to turn back the clock.
