Yet he remains relatively popular in parts of Romania where he is called 'the shepherd' by his fans. This week an admirer drove eight hours to Bucharest to present Becali with a statue of the Steaua owner. It took the fan two weeks to sculpt and is worth €6,500. Becali's reaction?
