Javier Mascherano clashed heads with Netherlands' midfielder Georginho Wijnaldum in the first half of their World Cup semi final, almost certainly suffering a concussion.
The Argentinian midfielder was clearly worse for wear after the incident. He was unable to remain upright and stumbled to the ground holding his head.
The 30-year-old left the field of play, under his own power, but returned just two and a half minutes after the clash.
It's an occurrence quite reminiscent of an injury Florian Fritz sustained during the Top 14 playoffs this season.
