What a difference a week makes. Arsenal have exacted some revenge on Liverpool after winning today's FA Cup tie 2-1. The closing stages weren't without controversy though as Howard Webb waved away claims for a second penalty for Liverpool after a foul on Luis Suarez.
The scoring was opened in the first half by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Two minutes into the second half Arsenal scored again. This time through the boot of Lukas Podolski.
However, Podolski turned villain when his foul on Luis Suarez resulted in a penalty and almost killed the Uruguayan by the looks of his reaction. Steven Gerrard promptly slotted home from the spot.
Minutes later Liverpool could have had a second penalty but Howard Webb decided to award the spot-kick.
