Sergio Aguero gave Man City the lead against Spurs at White Hart Lane with a lovely finish after he was put through on goal by David Silva.
Danny Rose was then sent off for a challenge on Edin Dzeko.
Yaya Toure scored the resulting penalty.
Dzeko got City's third after more good work from David Silva.
