La Liga is shaping up for a its most intriguing finish to a season in a quite a while. It's not just Barca and Real Madrid who are involved this year, Atletico Madrid top the table at the moment. They are currently one point clear of Barcelona in second and three ahead of Real Madrid in third. All three have played thirty games.
Sevilla did Atletico and Barca a major favour last night when they beat Real 2-1. Carlos Bacca scored both Sevilla goals, with the winner coming in the 73rd minute.
It was setup up by Ivan Rakitic's through ball. The Croatian was in a position to play that pass thanks to his sublime touch near the halfway line.
It's a little bit like a chip over the defence from Felipe Contepomi in his Leinster heyday.
