Helsingborgs hammered Malmo 7-1 in a training match this evening. Played out in front of a few hundred stragglers, the match was distinguished principally by the decision of Henrik Larsson to bring himself on with twenty minutes remaining.
It's five years since he made his last professional appearance against Djurgarden in the Swedish Premier League in 2009. With the score 6-1 and his side shy of strikers, the obvious thing to do was throw himself into the mix.
Naturally, he scored. He received the ball out on the left, surged into the penalty area and passed the ball into the far left hand corner.
He could still do a job.
