Fridge-sized forward Adebayo Akinfenwa was pivotal in securing AFC Wimbledon's historic victory over MK Dons in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy last night. The hulking striker, aptly called "The Beast" by fans, found the net with 10 minutes left on the clock to give his side their first ever victory over the Dons.

MK Dons, who are a league above Wimbledon, took the lead in the second minute. Wimbledon equalised but the Dons fired back just before half time. Sean Rigg leveled the game on the 68 minute mark and then Akinfenwa entered the fray as an impact sub. His winning goal marked the first time his side were in front in the entire match. His timing couldn't have been any better.

Judging by his celebration, he was absolutely delighted with his dramatic winner.
