Apart from being the pink newspaper that James Richardson would hold up and read from on Football Italia back in the day, Gazzetta dello Sport are also known for their annual lists on the best talent that European football has to offer.
Every year they focus on the best players at or under the age of 20 and rank them in terms of their current ability and potential, and although the number has been reduced from 50 to 30 this year, it's still a solid list featuring a number of household names as well as some more obscure shouts.
Of the Top 30 selected just three are playing in English football and one of them is in the Championship, as the league with the most young stars on the continent is France's Ligue 1 with 8, including the highly-rated Kylian Mbappé.
The #1 spot is reserved for Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele, and in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Bayern's Renato Sanches we have a pretty solid top three.

The real learnings here are that French football could well be about to enter their golden age. With so much young talent already involved in the senior side, to have so much U20 talent already making a mark at big European clubs is frightening.
Also, Real Madrid have some outstanding options to return from loan, not including Martin Odegaard who can perhaps count himself a little lucky to have made this list considering what the others have managed to achieve in senior football already.
