Car Crash Gazza

Oddly, the crashed car was a Vauxhall Astra, the same model Gazza drove into Loch Lomond with Chris Evans during his time with Rangers. What does Gazza have against the humble Astra? Could it be that the Astra was launched in 1979 and is still going strong 31 years later, unlike Gazza who flamed out out at 31?
