Shamrock Rovers teenager Gavin Bazunu is hot property at the moment. The 16-year-old goalkeeper has attracted the attention of the likes of Celtic and Liverpool, the Reds sent over goalkeeping coach John Achterberg to watch the youngster last month after a string of impressive displays.
Bazunu has made the number one jersey his own of late, conceding just twice in six first team appearances, with former Northern Ireland international Alan Mannus relegated to the bench.
With several Premier League outfits circling the prospect, Independent.ie have reported that Tottenham Hotspur have lodged a bid for the stopper in the region of €200,000. The outlet also states that the deal would not mean that Bazunu would move to London straight away, with the keeper allowed to stay at Rovers until the completion of his Leaving Cert.
It is also believed that Norwich City have made an offer for Bazunu, but this bid was knocked back by the League of Ireland club.
