Gattuso Reckons Women Have No Place In Football

We've had Andy Gray on one famous occasion, the football legend that is Mike Newell, Ron Atkinson (numerous times), and now we have Italian football's bull terrier Gennaro Gattuso arguing that women have no business being in football.

He has no time for AC Milan's new co-Chief Executive Barbara Berlusconi. Gattuso was initially unhappy about her contention that AC Milan needed a new philosophy. Gattuso told Radio Radio that

I think that for someone like Galliani (Milan's longtime Chief Executive) there should be more respect. I can't really see women in football, I don't like to say it but that's how it is.

The whole rant wasn't in Mike Newell's class, when he tore strips of lineswoman Amy Rayner for failing to award his Luton side a penalty, saying "She shouldn't be here. I know that sounds sexist but I am sexist. This is not park football, so what are women doing here?"
