Carragher was in rare form in wishing his MNF colleague well, and when asked about the challenge on Sky Sports later, Gary Neville said that he's excited to join the club on Sunday.

Phil will be in charge of Valencia's Copa del Rey game this evening, and then the might of Barcelona await Gary on Saturday night. As Brian O'Driscoll points out, it's a sly older brother move of Gary to avoid the might of Barcelona.
