The 28th of April 1990. It would have been a good day to be a Liverpool fan. An 18th league title, King Kenny at the helm. The good times would never end. It might as well have been Bertie Ahern at the helm for all that that statement was true.
Fast forward 25 long long years and number 19 is looking as far away as ever. Unsurprisingly, that date is being marked widely online today with Oliver Kay of the Times putting into context just how unlikely that drought would have seemed to anyone who witnessed Liverpool's dominance in the 70s and 80s.
Twenty-five years today since Liverpool were last crowned champions. You would have been sectioned for predicting that in 1990

There were plenty of replies to that, as you might have expected. Mostly it was Man United fans looking to rub some salt into open wounds but there was one reply that stood out.
Gary Neville has gone full circle from being hateful Man United ..... to being everyone's favourite pundit, a sentiment shared by many Liverpool fans. But that doesn't mean he has forgotten how to get under the skin of his old enemies.
All Dayer?? https://t.co/w14tyuQ6sc

Just in case that needs some translation, an all dayer is an all day session, a rowdy soirée if you will. So, everyone around to Neville's house for a shindig. We can't speak for the Neville but we can only assume Liverpool fans are more than welcome.
