We have covered this ground before but it's worth coming back to. Gary Neville as a player was one of the easiest to dislike, even some Man Utd fans had a tough time supporting him. He was never a world class defender but since he departed the professional game he has brought a new level of expertise to the land of football analysis, fresh air in a room mainly packed with boring half wits living on the back of past glories and little else. This latest excerpt from his appearance on Monday Night football is just another example of what we need to set as the standard for analysts of the future.
