Gareth Bale is doing truly remarkable things for his country.
A player who clearly refuses to be one of those guys on a "best players never to play in a major tournament" list, Bale has strapped most of his Wales teammates onto his back and is riding majestically towards Euro 2016 qualification.
He hasn't done it all by himself, of course, but he's been absolutely massive as Wales now sit just one more win away from Euro 2016 qualification thanks to this moment of magic as Wales won 1-0 away in Cyprus.. We all know too well how difficult that result can be.
The goal that put the Welsh ahead was similar to Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2008 Champions League final:
Towering.
Wales are so close now. Having already jumped ahead of England and into the Top 10 of the FIFA World Rankings, Welsh football is really on the up.
