A mixed evening for Gareth Bale for against Inter Milan. He put Spurs up 1-0 with a well-placed header to the bottom corner of the Inter goal after only 6 minutes. He was then booked for diving 10 minutes later after looking for contact in the Inter penalty area. The referee showed no hesitation in producing a yellow card and he will now miss the 2nd leg at the San Siro.
Recommended
Bale is playing so well at the moment and scoring from all areas of the pitch. It makes little sense why he would so blatantly simulate a foul like this.
