Hugh O'Neils GAA club in Leeds have made the most high profile signing in Gaelic Games since Seanie Johnston transferred to Coill Dubh a couple of years ago.
The club announced on Facebook today that former Hull City player will be playing football with them. Windass said 'I have never played Gaelic football before but hopefully I can pick up the skills soon and hit the onion bag as many times as I have done with previous clubs.'
Windass has obviously been consulting RTÉ's Tadhg Peavoy about what GAA metaphors he should use but with that being said, his similes are unrivalled.
