While the country was left disappointed last night as Stephanie Roche agonisingly finished second in the
Puskas Award voting, RTÉ's coverage from her local pub, Brady's of Shankill, at least gave us something to laugh about during the minutes after the announcement.

The reporter covering the event live on the 6.1 news, was caught very much off guard as the  station cut from their studio to the pub, asking 'why can't I talk?' before popping into the live stream in what can only be described as an unorthodox manner.

While it is still early in the year, Sinead already has a rival for Irish sporting blooper of the year, with her gaffe coming just a day after Liam Spratt's best effort to block a possible GAA goal of the season.
