While the country was left disappointed last night as Stephanie Roche agonisingly finished second in the Puskas Award voting, RTÉ's coverage from her local pub, Brady's of Shankill, at least gave us something to laugh about during the minutes after the announcement.
The reporter covering the event live on the 6.1 news, was caught very much off guard as the station cut from their studio to the pub, asking 'why can't I talk?' before popping into the live stream in what can only be described as an unorthodox manner.
