Mohamed Salah's tetchy relationship with the Egyptian FA looks to have escalated today as the Liverpool striker took to Twitter to criticise their lack of communication.
"It's natural that any FA tries to solve the problems of its players so they can provide it with comfort. But in fact what I see is quite the opposite. It isn't normal that my messages & my lawyer's letters are ignored. I don't know why? Don't you have time to respond to us?!" https://t.co/qkvoa6y1li

During the 2018 Summer World Cup in Russia, Salah was pictured with controversial Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov which resulted in a significant backlash. The Egyptian FA have chosen Chechnya as their base and the Liverpool star was also made an honorary citizen of the Chechen Republic. it was later reported that the 26-year-old was considering retiring from international duty as he felt exposed.
This came after an earlier images rights dispute with the Egyptian FA. In the build-up to the tournament, his image featured heavily on the national team's plane, alongside the Egypt FA's official sponsor. Salah has a deal with a rival sponsor which has proved problematic.
Salah is represented by Ramy Abbas, who is both his lawyer and agent. The issue with feedback is not a new one as Abbas hit out at the FA earlier this year for similar.
We have not even been contacted for a resolution! Nothing! Complete silence! What's the plan?! We just see more and more billboards and ads coming out which we have never authorised! What effect do they think this is having? A good one?! Anyway, time is of the essence...
