Robbie Brady might be playing at a level befitting his talents next season.
The hero of Ireland's historic night in Lille is being linked in the press today with a move to Premier League champions Leicester City, along with a trio of other English clubs.
West Brom, Sunderland and newly-promoted Hull who, of course, Brady lined out for for four successive seasons between 2011 and 2015, are also said to be interested but it's a move to the King Power Stadium which appears to us to be the most attractive.
Brady would compete with Marc Albrighton for a slot on the left hand side of Leicester's midfield if the touted £12 million deal goes through but the most interesting element of this potential transfer, from an Irish point of view at least, is that Brady would get to showcase his cultured left foot against the European elite in the Champion's League next season.
It seems inevitable that given Norwich's relegation from the Premier League and Brady's increased profile from the Euros that he will move on but nothing will happen before Ireland's participation in the tournament has ended. Either way, you can expect Brady's agent to be fielding several calls from interested clubs over the next few months.
