Having left his interim role with Chelsea last summer, Frank Lampard has been careful in selecting his next job in management.
The Englishman's managerial career has not gone quite the way he would have hoped in recent years, having been sacked by both Chelsea and Everton. His reputation has certainly taken somewhat of a downward turn as a result.
Lampard will have to choose his next gig wisely. Another underwhelming spell in charge of a team could all but end his managerial career at the top level. While he has only managed in English football so far, it seems as though he is being considered for a job a bit further afield.

Frank Lampard linked with shock international job
The Telegraph are reporting that Frank Lampard is in the running to be appointed as the next manager of Canada.
The North American nation are currently on the lookout for a new head coach, with former boss John Herdman resigning last summer to move into club football. They are currently coached by Mauro Biello, who had acted as Herdman's assistant.
If Lampard was keen to move into international management, this is a job that could appeal to him. As co-hosts of the 2026 World Cup, Canada will qualify automatically for the tournament. They will fancy their chances of giving a good account of themselves on home soil, something that would boost his reputation as a manager.
While not a traditional powerhouse, Canada do have a number of excellent players in their current squad. The likes of Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, and Tajon Buchanan are all currently impressing at the top level of European football.
With an attractive job in club football far from a guarantee at the moment, Frank Lampard might well consider an offer from the Canadians should it come his way.
