We've professed our love of the tongue-strap on football boots before here on Balls.ie, but usually it's Adidas who show of the most underrated aspect of footballing footwear.
This time, it's Nike who have enhanced their Tiempo tenfold, but don't get too excited, as these have been designed for Francesco Totti, and Francesco Totti alone.
While the new Tiempo's were indeed gorgeous in their own right, The Emperor asked those at the sportswear giant to make a modification for him, and they delivered:

You don't even have to see Totti's face to know it's him, you'd spot that style of sock-wearing anywhere.
They are beautiful boots, and we imagine they would sell far better if they all came with the old school Tiempo tongue strap, but what do we know?
