While Irish fans were reveling in surreal scenes in the Zenica fog, true horror was unfolding only blocks from the Stade de France, where France and Germany were playing a friendly tonight.

Details are sketchy, but according to reports, up to 18 people were reported dead in a suicide attacks across Paris, including a bomb explosion at a bar a few blocks from the Stade de France.
An explosion could be heard during the game.
The gates of the stadium were locked after the game and fans flooded onto the pitch.

Stade de France security people were faced with the decision of calling the game off or letting it finish. They chose the latter.
France beat Germany 2-0.
Germany's hotel was evacuated last night.
