You're likely well underway in building your Fantasy Premier League team for the coming season, with the opening game little over two weeks to go. You may have noticed some big price changes in FPL this year.
Some of the biggest and most sought-after players in the game have dropped in price ahead of the 2022-23 season, making for some very intriguing and affordable options.
We've rounded up some of the biggest and most important FPL price changes for the new Premier League season
FPL Price Changes: The biggest drops for 2022-23
Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) - £8.4m to £7.5m
The most in-demand defender in FPL also comes at a heavily reduced price tag for the 2022-23 season.
Trent Alexander-Arnold registered two goals and 12 assists from right-back last season for Liverpool, and he is almost guaranteed to get regular bonus points. That's without even mentioning the fact he kept a whopping 17 clean sheets in the league last season.
There's no doubt Trent is a must-have in FPL, and his big price drop makes him all the more appealing.
Harry Kane (Tottenham) - £12.5m to £11.5m
Harry Kane is an intriguing option this year. He was no longer the centrepiece of the Spurs attack last year, with teammate Son Heung-Min taking the golden boot. Kane also took quite some time to get going, not scoring his first Premier League goal of the season until mid-October.
He did, however, end the season with 17 goals and he has yet to have a full Premier League season with a lower goal tally.
His price drop does make him much more attractive, but there is competition for the forward spots.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) - £12.2m to £10.5m
It remains to be seen if Cristiano Ronaldo will even be at Manchester United when the season begins next month. The wantaway Portuguese forward could be a bargain in FPL if he does decide to stay, however.
Ronaldo entered the Premier League as one of the most expensive FPL players last season, but he has seen a substantial price drop for the 2022-23 season. If he does stay at Old Trafford and becomes central to Erik Ten Hag's system, he could yet prove to be good value.
For now, though, he's worth avoiding.
Edouard Mendy (Chelsea) - £6.1m to £5.0m

He's one of the best keepers not only in the Premier League, but in the world, and Edouard Mendy is available for a surprisingly cheap price in this season's FPL.
The Chelsea number 1 is available for just £5.0m, after dropping significantly in price from last season.
He will be a hugely popular option between the sticks in this season's game.

Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) - £11.6m to £10.0m
In his first full season in the game (2020-21), Bruno Fernandes was not only one of the most popular players on the game, but also delivered hefty points hauls regularly.
Last season, however, was a tougher one for the Portuguese midfielder, and he has followed his international and club teammate Ronaldo in dropping heavily in price for this year's game.
Of all this year's FPL price changes, Fernandes' seems the most understandable, but there is no doubt he remains a talented player. If Erik Ten Hag's side make a quick start, he could yet be a viable option at a moderate price point.
Reece James (Chelsea) - £6.5m to £6.0m

Reece James is, similarly to his England right-back rival Trent Alexander-Arnold, a no-brainer for selection this season.
Virtually guaranteed to start at wing-back for Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea, he was a top performer last season despite injury problems.
At £6.0m he is suddenly an affordable defender, rather than filling a higher cost "premium" role, and his price drop makes him a very attractive option.

Brazilian Gabriel Jesus is an intriguing one this season.
Despite never setting the world alight during his time with Manchester City, he now appears to be a very popular option after his summer move to Arsenal.
Though it remains to be seen how well he will fill the striker role at the club, and how Arsenal will kick on from last season's form, his new price does make him that bit more affordable and enticing.
Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) - £9.4m to £6.5m
It's no surprise that a lot of the biggest FPL price changes come at Manchester United, after their worst ever Premier League campaign. The biggest drop seen by a single player, Marcus Rashford, has seen him fall almost £3m in value for this year's game.
There's no denying the English forward had a shocking season last time out, but he has shown signs of a return to his former sharpness in pre-season, and the previous three season seasons all saw him register double figures in goals.
It will depend on how his form holds up once the season starts, but £6.5m looks very attractive for Marcus Rashford.

FPL Price Changes: The biggest risers for 2022-23
A few of the biggest risers are in the similar "must have" category to Trent Alexander-Arnold, but it's worth noting a few of the big changes.
Spurs man and last season's golden boot winner Son Heung-Min has understandably risen in value substantially (£11.2m to £12.0m), while Bukayo Saka has rocketed from £6.7m all the way to £8.0m.
The biggest rise comes for another Spurs man, loan player Dejan Kulusevski. He arrived at £6.3m last season, but starts this season at £8.0m.
Richarlison (£7.6m to £8.5m) and James Maddison (£6.9m to £8.0m) have also rocketed in price.
So, there you go. Those are the biggest FPL price changes for this season. Have any of them altered your thinking on building your squad for the year ahead?
