In the world of non-stop content and endless scrolling, it's easy to be jaded. These days, it's much harder to find joy and pleasure in videos of two former footballers driving in an SUV, discussing their favourite films and Mario Balotelli. Sky's 'Micah & Roy's Road To Wembley' series surfaced online this week, and we're delighted to say it's a brilliant watch. We even learn a few things about Roy.

For instance:

Roy hates fireworks

Roy reveals a strange and unexpected gripe with fireworks.

"I don't get fireworks. You spend a fortune. They blow up and they're gone in three seconds," he says.  He goes as far to put fireworks in Room 101. 'Pointless,' he adds.

For such an explosive personality, Roy has a baffling amount of contempt for cheap explosives.

Roy's favourite film is 'There Will Be Blood'

Footballers often have terrible taste in films. Michael Owen famously hates movies. Roy, however, reveals himself to be a man of culture when films are discussed. Roy says his favourite movie is PT Anderson's 19th century oil epic There Will Be Blood. Daniel Day Lewis plays an obsessive maniac in the movie, so it's not clear why Roy is such a fan.

Keane also professes a love for Rambo ('I love it. My wife goes mad at me. I love when he rebels'). He admits to finding Home Alone hilarious and goes to bat for Denzel Washington.

Roy is a big fan of Katie Taylor

Roy reveals a very unexpected dream dinner party of Bob Dylan ('he's probably quiet and a bit miserable like me'), Norman Wisdom and Katie Taylor. Roy says he met Taylor once and calls her a true champion. It might not be the most boisterous dinner party of all time, but it's great to see Roy give Katie her due.

Roy's Irish advice on playing against Zidane

Keane and Zidane crossed paths numerous times in the Champions League and in World Cup qualifying. In the episode, Keane discusses his approach to playing the French maestro.

People to this day don't realise how big he was. I'm quite a small guy. I'm 5'10". I'm slight. People might think I look bigger on the pitch. The best thing when I used to play against Zidane, obviously at club level, the advice I would get from my friends in Ireland would be, the technical advice they would give me was 'just kick him'. That was the technical advice. And I would say, he's 6'2", he can deal with that. And I think he'd been sent off eight or nine times. What I love about Zidane, he was nasty.
