Four day old Thiago Messi has already been registered as a member of Newell's Old Boys.

Lionel Messi's newly born son has already been registered as a supporter of the club that his father played for between 1995 and 200.

The crowd at the Newell's Old Boys game on Sunday unfurled a banner reading:

Welcome to the world Messi Thiago ... The World Leper. Socio Number 2,888,152

'The World Leper' refers to Newell's Old Boys who are known as the lepers.
