Another veteran of the famous US tour of 2007 is on the move. Former St. Pat's defender Joe O'Cearuill has signed for Isthmian League side Staines Town.

London born but Irish named, O'Cearuill was released by Dover Athletic at the end of last year.

O'Cearuill was at Barnet when he received the call from Steve Staunton. He came on as a sub against Ecuador in the first game and started the subsequent game against Bolivia. That gilded class of America 2007 are a source of endles fascination for the more quirky and obsessive of the Irish football family (as John Delaney might put it).

The Isthmian League is the next tier down from the Conference.
