Footballer Destroys Wedding Ring To Be Allowed Play

During a match in Venezuela's Primera Divison between Deportivo Lara and Deportivo Anzoategui, Panama international Rolando 'El Talentoso' Escobar was told he had to remove his wedding ring. Unfortunately, his ring was stuck and no amount of effort could get it unstuck. So he went at it with a pair of pliers. Must be a shortage of sticky tape in Venezuela at the moment because surely that would have been a better alternative. His wife can't have been happy.
