The release of Football Manager 2025 will be one of the most eagerly anticipated in the history of the iconic management simulation franchise.
It has been common knowledge for a couple of years that Football Manager 25 was to see a big change from recent versions of the popular game.
New features in FM 25 include the introduction of the ‘Portal’, which will replace the in-game email page FM players spend most of their time on.
This will offer players more insights into what is happening in the FM universe, effectively mirroring how people interact with their smartphones in the real world.

Football Manager 25 changes
Football Manager 25 is set to change a lot and it may well break some of the usual trends along the way. This is a project that is planned out many years in advance.
Using analytical data from those who opted in to share it the team has taken a good, hard look at Football Manager and cut many features that most people didn’t use.
The features that were cut were very rarely if ever used and the FM25 team were unable to justify including if they were unnecessary to the user. Fantasy Draft will be missing from FM25’s launch but will be patched in at some point during the year as it won’t be ready in time for it's release.
However, there are numerous exciting new features for fans to look forward to. FM25 will have a significantly better looking matchday experience - both on the pitch and the supporting stadium environments also you can expect better-quality graphics across all supported devices.
Women’s football will also be included for the first time, thus opening the door for a new demographic of players to join the global FM community.
