Ireland beat Switzerland 1-0 at the Aviva Stadium tonight in front of an estimated crowd of 35,400.
Judging by many of the photos emerging from the Lansdowne Road area, the match was a mere sideshow to the main event which was getting the pints in.
It is our conservative estimate that approximately 75% of tweets sent from inside the ground tonight consisted of close-ups of pints.
Another 20% consisted of wide shots of crowds queueing to buy pints at the bar. 3% were about the 1916 tributes before kick-off.
The remainder concerned the match itself.
(These stats come with a slight health warning - 98% margin for error).
Here are some happy people enjoying the match.
Football.
