José Mourinho is set to leave Real Madrid in the coming weeks. Since his 2010 appointment, he has had a decidedly mixed time at Real Madrid, breaking all sorts of records - from a joint worst losing margin for Real Madrid in a Clásico to the best points total in La Liga history. As ever though, he has left a trail of entertainment, trophies and outrage in his wake. Here are five of the most memorable moments.
1. The knee slide against Man City
Mourinho announced himself to the wider footballing world with his fist pumping run down the Old Trafford sideline after his Porto side knocked out Manchester United in the 2004 Champions League. That was just the beginning of the dramatic Mourinho celebration showreel, but undoubtedly one of his career highs was this slide...
2. Poking Tito Vilanova in the eye
The flip side to Mourinho's unbridled joy in victory is his bitterness in defeat. After Madrid's loss in the 2011 Supercopa he found out current Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova and poked him in the eye.

3. Getting cut off by Geoff Shreeves
Mourinho is used to being the centre of all media attention, a burden he so modestly accepts on to his own shoulders to protect his players. His reaction to being cut off here is akin to a spoilt child's confused scorn when they are told that it is in fact someone else's birthday that they are at and they are not entitled to all of the presents and attention.

4. His teamtalk after the 5-0 El Clásico loss
Mourinho's first Clásico was a comprehensive 5-0 defeat to Barcelona, a result most would find it difficult to came back from. Yet one of Mourinho's principle skills lies in his ability to understand the psychology of footballers and put it to use. Jerzy Dudek later recalled his post-match teamtalk.
5. Instructing Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso to get sent off
Mourinho's insatiable desire to win also makes him somewhat of a cynic and he has long been prepared to use whatever means necessary to achieve victory. Sometimes this comes off with more subtlety than others. During a comprehensive victory over Ajax in the groups stages of the Champions League, he managed to clumsily relay messages to Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso, asking them to get themselves sent off. What followed was the sort of hilarious pantomime only Mourinho is capable of.
