Great news for those who love the iconic Predators, as Adidas are finally set to return to the classic red and black colourway for 2017.

The Adidas ACE 16 has only recently been released and will be worn by many players at Euro 2016, but the boots being released in a striking blue, and what can only be described as a "slime" green had put many potential buyers off:

Thankfully, it appears that the German sportswear giant are going back to their roots with the Adidas ACE 17, set to release in December of this year, while also keeping all the new technology that pretty much glues the ball to your foot.

Having tested the previous two versions of the Adidas ACE, it really is as comfortable and effective as you could want from a boot, and now it will have the old school Predator look to go with it.

FootyHeadlines.com managed to get their hands on leaked photos of the upcoming boot:

Wow!

We can't help but feel that by making the sock part black, thus having a bit less red involved it could be even better, but really we're just happy to see the old school combo back again.

Previously the best option was to go for the ACE 16 with MiAdidas customisation to give them the desired style, and to be fair it looks gorgeous:

Still, they are more expensive and take longer to customise.

So what's the verdict on the Ace 17? Will you be trying to acquire a pair?
