A new football film is about to hit our screens in early December, with Final Score dropping an bombastic trailer to signal its arrival in cinemas.
The movie centres around a football match in West Ham's home ground, and Michael Knox (played by David Bautista), who must save the day after Russian (I think) terrorists/baddies promise to detonate a bomb in the stadium unless Knox kills one of the watching spectators (Russian?) Dmitri Belov.
Fresh from playing a pseudo-Gerry Adams character in Jackie Chan's 'The Foreigner', Pierce Brosnan native has moved on to playing a Roman Abramovich type in Belov, in a film which is being billed as 'Die Hard in a football stadium'.
The film is already trotting out slick taglines such as '35,000 lives. 90 minutes. No extra time,' and 'Some scores will never be settled', and despite the height at which you will need to suspend your disbelief to watch it, the film does look like good popcorn fodder.
