Luis Suarez has been banned for four months from all football related activities and a total of nine competitive international matches. He has also been fined 100,000 Swiss Francs.

Suarez will not be allowed even attend football matches for the duration of his ban. This means he will miss Liverpool's club games until around mid-October, should he still be at the club.
