Feyenoord fans sang a classy rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone yesterday, in memory of goalkeeper Brad Jones's son who passed away six years ago.
Jones' lost his six-year-old son, Luca, on the 18 November 2011 after a year-long battle with leukemia. The Australian has spoken with brutal honesty about the effect it had on him. In the summer of 2010 he got the news that his son was ill and left the South Africa World Cup to be at his side. Over the next year, he got a dream move to the club he was a fan of since his childhood, Liverpool. All the while he had to contend with the effect the illness was having on his son.

He was released by the club in 2015 and after stints with Bradford City and Dutch club NEC moved to Feyenoord.
In the 12th minute of their recent game at home against VVV-Venlo the fans rose in unison, light up the De Kuip stadium and sang the traditional matchday song as a tribute.
Jones took to Instagram after the game to thank the fans.
Jones' seems to have found a home at Feyenoord, who currently sit 6th in the Eredivisie Table.
