Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is still looking to add to his squad ahead of the close of the transfer window this Thursday.
The Italian has already brought in midfielder Jorginho, who played under the Italian at Napoli, but Sarri has hinted that he wishes to make at least one more addition to his squad before the start of the season:
I talk with the club about the market but only one or maybe two times, not more. I spoke about positions and characteristics but no names. So, I don’t know. I think we need something, but maybe only a player.
We have very good midfielders, but maybe a midfielder with different characteristics.
One midfielder linked with a move to the Blues is long term Liverpool target Nabil Fekir with France Football reporting that the London club have made a move for the World Cup winner.

A move to the Merseyside club broke down before the start of the World Cup and the 25-year-old has stated in an interview with the club's official TV station that he may still leave Lyon before the upcoming season:
As you can see, I am in Lyon. I am very happy here. But the transfer window is still long and everything goes very quickly in football.
We don’t know what will happen in the future but I am very happy at Lyon. I feel brilliant in this squad. We have very good players, a great atmosphere.
It is a bit like the French national team: a mixture of youngster and older players, with some players more experienced than others. We have a good group, very homogeneous. We feel good together and I hope that Lyon will have a very good season.
It does appear as if Lyon are desperate to cash in on the France international with this statement only increasing speculation that the forward is set to leave the Ligue 1 side this summer.
