As we come into the congested festive period of Premier League action, Fantasy Premier League managers have to be especially vigilant when selecting their teams, with injuries and rotation a factor for all sides.
Here are seven Fantasy Premier League tips for gameweek 17.
Ruben Neves
The Portugese midfielder has gone off the boil somewhat, but I am backing him to pick up some points over the next few games. Bournemouth, Liverpool and Fulham are Wolves' next fixtures.
Bernard
Everton have not been getting the results their performances have deserved as of late. The Merseyside derby loss and their last gasp draw at Watford do not reflect what a solid side Marco Silva has put together in his short time at the club. I'm going with diminutive forward Oliver to pick some points over the next few games, though Andre Gomes and Richarlison are two other players that are currently in form at the moment.
Spurs, Burnley, Brighton and Leicester are the upcoming challenges for the Toffees, who will be hoping to come out of Christmas undefeated if nothing else.
David Luiz
Luiz's man-of-the-match performance against Man City has meant that many FPL managers have plumped for the Brazilian (£5.9) in their defence, and with Leicester, Watford and Crystal Palace as Chelsea's upcoming fixtures it might be a bad shout.
Felipe Anderson
Everyone has been hopping aboard the Felipe Anderson hype train recently (I've had him since the start of the season, but whatever). The Brazilian has 78 FPL points and will set you back £7.3m.
Marcus Rashford
Marcus Rashford (£6.9m) bagged a brilliant brace against Liverpool last season, and even if you don't think he'll get much change out of the Liverpool defence on Sunday, United's three fixtures after that (Cardiff, Huddersfield and Bournemouth) should prove ample opportunity for the England striker to bag a few goals.
Xherdan Shaqiri
For a man that was supposed to be on the fringes of this Liverpool team, Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.1m) has been an increasingly important player for the Reds as the season progresses. Expect him to be utilised regularly over the Christmas period as Jurgen Klopp's men take on Man United, Wolves, Newcastle and Arsenal.
Jean Michel Seri
One of Fulham's big money signings has failed to lift the Cottagers above the relegation zone so far this season, though still has a respectable 45 FPL points to his name. West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves will provide Seri (£5.2m) with a good platform to showcase his abilities and help drag Fulham out of their current funk.
