With the busy festive season in full flow, Fantasy Premier League managers have to be careful when selecting their first eleven to ensure maximum points over the coming weeks. Here are a few tips on who to plump for for gameweek 18.
Fantasy Premier League tips for gameweek 18
Danny Ings
Ings has already had a good start to the season before being sidelined with an injury. The Liverpool loanee was back in action last weekend and was pivotal in his side's 3-2 win over Arsenal, scoring two great headers. If he can stay fit the England striker is a snip at £5.4m.
Matt Doherty
Doherty (£5.1m) has already been a key player for Wolves this season and has accrued 80 points so far this season.
Kieran Trippier
Another player returning from injury, Trippier (£6.1m) is as likely to get you points from clean sheets as he is to grab a cheeky assist or goal.
Declan Rice
With West Ham player Declan Rice (£4.4m) listed as a defender in the FPL, I've had him in my squad from the beginning. The young English/Irishman plays primarily as a midfielder for the Hammers and although he hasn't come good with any goals/assists for his club, it's surely only a matter of time before he starts to impact things at the business end of the pitch.
Fabinho
The Brazilian (£5.5m) finally looks to have found his feet at Anfield with a tigerish performance against Man United. The former Monaco man grabbed a delightful assist for Mane's opening strike and if he shows the same tendencies to shoot from long range in his upcoming matches he could be good for a goal as Liverpool look to push on during the Christmas period.
Lukasz Fabianski
Fabianski (£4.6m) has been in stellar from all season and is the 7th most transferred player in this week. Watford, Southampton and Burnley await for the Pole, which should see him add to his points tally for the season.
Paul Pogba
With Mourinho now out of the picture, Paul Pogba (£7.8m) will surely be unleashed by caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, and what better game to unleash him than in United's away trip to Cardiff on Saturday.
