In need of Fantasy Football advice? The talk to Don.
What to do with Anelka?
Dear Don,
Long time reader, first time advice seeker. What should I do with Nicolas Anelka this week?
Yours sincerely
Hank Tree.

Dear Hank,
Thanks for your correspondence. It has been a tough couple of days for Nicolas and an even tougher couple of days for those of us who own him on Fantasy Football. A lot of team managers are adamant that they need to play three up front but there are few decent strikers of the same price that are fit to replace Anelka.
However, at times like this a manager must show to compassion Nicolas. My advice would be to keep him and see how it plays out. However if you're insistent upon cutting your losses then perhaps Danny Graham at £5.5m is an option.

The captain choice
Dear Don,
Think I saw you down the pub in Chigwell last night. You were doing a beer-bong on the pool table? Anyhow I'm struggling with my captain choice this week. Can you help a brother out?
Yours in waiting,
Spodo Komodo.

Dear Spodo,
No that wasn't me I'm afraid. While I am partial to the odd beer-bong I was actually at The Internship last night. Decent film. As to your query; I have to two trains of thought on this one. If you're looking for a straight-up answer, I would go with an Aguero or Dzeko as Man City should win comfortably.
However! As you know Spodo, Don Hutchinson is a deeply spiritual person and last night God spoke to me in a dream. I dreamt that Robin Van Persie scored against Chelsea to put United 1-0 up. A cross came in from the right and RVP headed it back across the goal into the bottom corner. Now the dream was rather strange in that from some reason the match had started before the Fantasy Football deadline had closed so I was able to make RVP captain after he scored.
However I think this was a sign from the big man himself (Ron Atkinson) to hand RVP the armband before 11:30am on Saturday.

Who will replace Bale?
Dear Don,
I hear you're a big fan of washing detergent. What brand would you recommend for an unemployed male? Also I'm thinking of signing a Spurs midfielder who may step into the void left by Gareth Bale. Any suggestions?
In need of a wash,
Jerry Twig.

Hi Jerry,
Yes, Don Hutchinson takes clothes hygiene very seriously. If you're working off a tight budget however then I would recommend Almat from Aldi. With regard to the filling the Gareth Bale hole in the Spurs team, this is a tricky one. Of course we don't know for certain yet if he will leave or if they manage to finalise the deal for Willian.
I'm finding myself drawn towards a former Fantasy Football great in one Gylfi Sigurdsson. Now he has been a massive disappointment since going to Spurs but I once owned him on Football Manager 2011 with Barnsley, and while he flattered to deceive for a few years, in the 2013/14 season he almost single-handedly won Barnsley the Premier League with 28 goals. Therefore he is twice the player Paulinho can ever aspire to be.
