McClaren featured in the photo above the question, alongside Brian Laws, Gary Megson, Juande Ramos and Roy Keane.

The poll eventually became an instance of fans highlighting the most obscure man to have managed their clubs, with Alain Perrin, Velimir Zajec, Chris Hutchings, Terry Connor and Les 'Miserables' Reed getting numerous mentions.
Ultimately, the closure of the poll had good news for Keane, and indeed any manager who has worked in any season before this. Topping the poll was McClaren with a massive 71% of the vote, with Remi Garde and Louis Van Gaal joint with 7% of the vote. Nobody else got above 3%.
