Radamel Falcao rejected offers from Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus to join Manchester United, according to the Columbian striker's father.
The 28-year-old superstar was the Red Devil's deadline day marquee signing and his father, Radamel Garcia, insisted he made the right choice in joining such a prestigious club.
Juventus, Manchester City and Liverpool were also interested and Arsenal late on. Fortunately he has ended up at Manchester United, a great team.
Thank God for everything with Manchester United.United are the most important team in England and one of the most economically powerful.
Falcao was strongly linked with Champions League holders Real Madrid during the summer, but a move to the Bernabeu failed to materialise. Garcia explained why the Madrid deal never got off the ground.
Things with Real Madrid did not happen because if you have money to go to the market and buy a shirt or pants, you have to decide whether to buy or not. Real Madrid chose not to.
The diminutive striker's time at Monaco has been hampered with injury but United will be hoping he can recreate his form when he made his name at Athletico Madrid. Falcao averaged over 20 goals a season in his pomp with the La Liga outfit.
